Community Meetings
Three Lakes Council hosted a series of seminars on a variety of stewardship topics for our community. You can use the links to the presentations to see the information that was presented and to review these topics.
Engineering firm B&L presented the Waccabuc Septic Study to the Town Board on November 15, 2021.
Michael Martin of Cedar Eden presented the 2019 Watershed Plan on October 25, 2019, and hosted a Q&A session. You can read the underlying watershed plan here.
Chris Doyle of ABI (now SOL) presented “Goop and Zoop” about algae and zooplankton in our lakes in May 2010. We also reviewed BEEP and Water Quality Trends.
Presentations on Aquatic Plants of the Three Lakes were given at the May 2009 meeting. For faster viewing the presentation is divided into Waccabuc, Oscaleta, and Rippowam plants. The Brazilian Elodea Eradication Project (BEEP) update was also given at the 2009 meeting.
In May 2008, Chris Doyle presented a water quality summary based on the 2003 – 2007 testing done on the Three Lakes. He also presented an overview of aquatic plant control options.
In 2005, members attended a talk on alternative septic system technologies used in the
Canandaigua Lake Watershed
In May, 2005, a community meeting on septic systems was given at the South Salem Firehouse.

All Three Lakes community members are welcome to attend Board meetings. Board meeting minutes are posted as soon as possible after a board meeting.
